Looking Back - 2009 Buffalo Octoberfest, Buffalo, West Virginia

WOW, what a great day! We set up our first information booth in Putnam County at the Buffalo Octoberfest in Buffalo, West Virginia. The day started off with warm weather and lots of enthusiasm. Buffalo Shopping Center sponsored the event on the grounds of it's historic site. There were food vendors, rides for the kids and lots of craft vendors. The highlight for us was greeting all the wonderful folks that came by our booth. We enjoyed being located next to the Buffalo High School Band and learning about all the great fundraising events they are involved with. We were impressed with the entire event and thank the organizers at the Buffalo Shopping Center for allowing us to introduce our publication.

We would like to thank Mayberry's Restaurant & Michelle's Salon & Spa for donating prizes for the drawings. Mayberry's & Michelle's are located in the MidVALLEY Plaza @ 3554 Teays Valley Road in Hurricane

Congrats to the winners of the drawings and raffle! Lisa H. of Leon won the Quilt Raffle & Michelle's Salon & Spa Haircut. Medora M. of Apple Grove won the Mayberry's Sandwich Meal.
